Do you repair MacBooks at the component level?

Yes. We do board-level repair on MacBook logic boards when it's the most cost-effective path — liquid damage cleanup, dead-charge-IC swaps, trackpad / keyboard flex repair. We disclose success likelihood and quote up front before any board work.

Can you recover data from a dead computer?

In most cases yes — even when the device won't boot, the storage is often intact. We diagnose whether it's logic-board, display, power, or storage, then recover data from the drive directly when the device itself can't be brought back. Data recovery is quoted separately.

How long is the warranty?

90 days covering parts + labor on the specific repair. If the same component fails within 90 days under normal use, we replace at no charge.

Do you back up data before working on my computer?

For any repair touching the storage drive (SSD/HDD upgrades, OS reinstalls, board work), we discuss data preservation up front. Healthy storage gets imaged before we start. Failing storage gets a recovery image first — quoted separately.

Can I drop off and pick up later?

Yes. Most computer repairs take 1-3 business days. Drop off at your appointment slot, we text when ready. The waiting area on the 19th floor has seating and Wi-Fi if you'd rather wait for a quick diagnosis.
