FAQ

How long does most repairs take?
Most screen + battery repairs are same-day if the part is in stock (4,347+ parts in our Manassas warehouse). Complex repairs (logic board, water damage) typically take 2–5 business days. Mail-ins add 1–2 days for shipping each way.
How much does a quote cost?
Zero. The diagnostic consultation and quote are always free. We charge only after you approve the final repair price.
What's covered under the 90-day warranty?
Defects in the replacement part — if the new screen flickers, the new battery doesn't hold charge, the new charging port stops working, etc. Three things void it: new cracks (drops), cosmetic damage, and water damage. Full terms on our return policy page.
Do I lose my data during a repair?
No — your data stays on the device. We never wipe or copy data unless the repair specifically requires it (e.g., logic board failure where the storage chip needs migration), and we always ask first.
Can you repair devices that other shops gave up on?
Often yes. We do micro-soldering and board-level work in-house — water damage, no-power, no-image, BGA chip replacements — that most "we replace whole boards" shops won't attempt. Send us photos and we'll tell you honestly if it's worth attempting.
How does mail-in repair work?
Fill out our mail-in form describing the device + problem. We email a prepaid shipping label addressed to our New Haven, CT shop. You pack it (we'll send packing tips). Once it arrives, we diagnose within 1 business day and email you the quote. After you approve, we repair + ship back insured. Note: mail-in repair devices go to New Haven, not our Manassas parts warehouse.
