This is the customer agreement for CCT Care, a device-repair membership offered by CCT Repairs (“CCT,” “we,” “us,” “our”), operating at mycctrepairs.com. By opting in to CCT Care at checkout, you (“you,” “Member,” “Customer”) agree to these terms.
1. What CCT Care is — and isn’t
CCT Care is a device-repair pricing membership. When you opt in at checkout, you authorize CCT to bill your saved payment method a fixed monthly fee. While your membership is active, any repair CCT performs on the specific device you registered is billed at member pricing: replacement parts at CCT’s cost (wholesale cost + a 2% card-processing pass-through + shipping) and a flat $80 labor rate on standard repairs.
CCT Care is not insurance. It is not a service contract or extended warranty. It does not transfer risk of loss, theft, or damage, and CCT does not promise to “cover” any event. You always pay for your repair — the membership simply lowers that price. There is no credit balance: the monthly fee buys the member-pricing entitlement; it does not accumulate, is not redeemable for cash, and nothing expires.
If you experience a loss, theft, accidental damage, or any event for which insurance might pay out, CCT Care does not provide reimbursement. Consider a separate device insurance product (such as AppleCare+, Asurion, or similar) for those needs.
2. Eligibility and enrollment
CCT Care is available only at the time you purchase an eligible device through mycctrepairs.com. Eligibility is determined by:
- The device’s listed condition: NEW (SEALED), NEW HSO, Grade A, or Grade B
- The device’s model being mapped in our active CCT Care tier table
- You being the original purchaser of the device through CCT
You may opt in by selecting the CCT Care option at checkout. Each unit on your order can be enrolled separately (one membership per physical device).
You may not enroll a device after purchase. Once your order completes without opting in, that device cannot be added to CCT Care later. Enrollment is a checkout-only decision.
3. Monthly pricing and billing
The monthly fee is determined at enrollment and locked for the life of your membership. Future tier-table changes do not affect your existing membership.
Billing is handled by Square, Inc. as our payment processor. Your initial charge occurs when CCT logs the device’s IMEI/serial number (typically when the device ships). Subsequent charges occur monthly on the same calendar day.
By enrolling, you authorize CCT (via Square) to charge your saved payment method monthly until you cancel. You can review your membership at mycctrepairs.com/my-care/.
Currency: All charges are in U.S. Dollars (USD). International cards may incur foreign-transaction or currency-conversion fees from your card issuer; CCT does not control or refund these.
3.1 Automatic renewal — required disclosure
CCT Care is a recurring monthly subscription that automatically renews until you cancel. By opting in at checkout you specifically acknowledge and agree:
- Your saved payment method will be charged the agreed monthly fee automatically, on the same calendar day each month, until you cancel.
- The subscription renews indefinitely without further notice or action from you.
- You may cancel at any time, online, at mycctrepairs.com/my-care/ — no phone call, no email, no waiting period required to initiate cancellation.
- We will send an electronic billing receipt to the email associated with your account after each successful charge.
- If we materially change the terms of CCT Care after your enrollment, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect (see §12). The monthly fee you pay is locked at enrollment per §3 and cannot be raised.
This disclosure is provided in compliance with California Business & Professions Code § 17602 and analogous auto-renewal laws in other U.S. jurisdictions. It applies regardless of where you reside.
4. What member pricing covers
While your membership is active, any standard repair CCT performs on your registered device is billed at member pricing:
- Parts at cost — each replacement part is billed at CCT’s wholesale cost, plus a flat 2% card-processing pass-through, plus the actual shipping cost of that part. No retail markup is applied to parts for members.
- Flat $80 labor — standard repairs (screen, battery, charging port, back glass, camera, speaker, and similar) are billed at a flat $80 in labor, regardless of repair complexity.
There is no credit balance. CCT Care does not accumulate a spendable balance. The membership itself is the benefit: while you are paying, you get member pricing; when the membership ends, member pricing ends. Nothing is “redeemed,” nothing carries over, and nothing expires.
Water damage and board-level / micro-soldering repairs are excluded from the flat $80 labor rate. Those repairs are genuinely variable and are quoted separately; member part pricing may still apply at CCT’s discretion.
5. Repairs and acceptance
Member pricing applies to repairs at CCT Repairs to the specific device you registered (matched by the device’s IMEI or serial number). CCT staff will verify the device’s identifier at the time of service. Member pricing is not transferable to another device or person.
Repair acceptance is at CCT’s sole discretion. CCT may decline to accept any device for repair, including (but not limited to) devices that have:
- Liquid or water damage
- Intentional or malicious damage
- Multiple failure points beyond the requested repair
- Aftermarket modifications, jailbreaks, or unauthorized software
- A serial number or IMEI that has been altered, removed, or does not match our membership records
- Locked carrier status preventing diagnostic verification
- Damage that exceeds the scope of services CCT normally performs
If CCT declines a repair, you owe nothing for that declined work and are free to take the device elsewhere. Your membership is unaffected.
6. Manufacturer warranty interaction
If the device’s failure is covered by an active manufacturer warranty (Apple, Samsung, Google, etc.) under which the repair would cost you less, the manufacturer warranty should be used first. CCT Care does not duplicate or replace coverage already available from the manufacturer.
CCT’s separate 90-day parts warranty (covering manufacturing defects in parts CCT installs) is independent of CCT Care and applies to all repairs, regardless of membership status.
7. Cancellation, lapse, and re-enrollment
You may cancel your CCT Care membership at any time at mycctrepairs.com/my-care/. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period:
- No further charges will be made
- Member pricing ends when the membership ends
- Because there is no credit balance, nothing is forfeited or lost on cancellation
Failed payments and the 14-day grace period. If your payment method is declined, your membership enters a paused state. You have 14 calendar days from the time of the failed charge to update your payment information at /my-care/. Member pricing remains available during the grace period. If payment is not successfully resolved within 14 days, your membership is deactivated.
We send a reminder email when a charge first fails, and again a few days before the 14-day grace window closes. A deactivation email is sent if the window expires unresolved.
Re-enrollment. A device whose membership has lapsed or been cancelled may be re-enrolled in CCT Care later. However, when a device is re-enrolled, a 3-month waiting period applies before a repair can be claimed under the new membership. (First-ever enrollment of a device has no waiting period.) This waiting period exists to keep the membership fair — it prevents the pattern of letting a membership lapse and re-enrolling only when a repair is already needed.
8. Returns and refunds
If you return the device for a refund within CCT’s 30-day return window:
- You will receive a refund of the device’s purchase price, minus original shipping costs
- All CCT Care monthly fees paid on that device will be refunded to the original payment method
- Your CCT Care membership is cancelled
Shipping costs are non-refundable for any reason. Because CCT Care carries no credit balance, there is no balance adjustment to calculate — past membership fees on a returned device are refunded in full alongside the device-cost refund.
9. Replacement devices
If the device covered by your CCT Care membership is replaced under manufacturer warranty (e.g., Apple sends a replacement iPhone), your membership transfers to the replacement device. You must contact CCT support with the new IMEI within 30 days. We will update your membership records.
If the device is replaced through a non-warranty event (e.g., you sell it and buy a new one), the membership does NOT transfer. You must purchase a new eligible device to enroll a new membership.
10. Privacy and data
You explicitly authorize CCT to:
- Store your device’s IMEI or serial number, linked to your customer account
- Share your billing email with Square, Inc. for payment processing
- Use your IMEI to verify device ownership at the time of repair
CCT does NOT share your IMEI with any party other than Square (where required for subscription billing). We do not sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your data.
Full privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy, of which this section is a part.
11. Limitations of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CCT’s total liability under CCT Care is limited to the sum of monthly fees you have paid into the program
- CCT is not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages
- CCT is not responsible for losses arising from device theft, loss, water damage, or events outside the scope of services CCT normally performs
- Where local law prohibits limitation of liability for certain damages, the limitations above do not apply to those specific damages
CCT Care is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except as expressly stated in this agreement.
CCT Care carries no prepaid credit balance. The monthly fee purchases the current month’s member-pricing entitlement only; it is not a deposit, stored value, or prepaid balance, and there is no accumulated balance that could be at risk in the event of CCT’s insolvency. If CCT ceases operations, your membership simply ends and no further charges are made.
12. Modifications to these terms
CCT may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your enrollment address at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel your membership before the effective date at no penalty. The monthly fee on existing memberships is locked at enrollment per Section 3 and is not subject to change.
13. Dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to CCT Care that cannot be resolved through CCT’s customer support shall be resolved through:
1. Informal negotiation — for at least 30 days from notice of the dispute. 2. Binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Hartford, Connecticut, in English.
You waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitration. You retain the right to:
- Bring an individual action in small-claims court for amounts within that court’s jurisdictional limit
- Seek public injunctive relief in court (this carve-out is included in light of McGill v. Citibank, 2 Cal. 5th 945 (2017), which held public-injunctive-relief waivers unenforceable under California law; we extend this exception to all members regardless of state of residence)
- Pursue any other remedy that, under controlling law, cannot be waived by pre-dispute agreement
This section survives termination of your membership.

15. Acceptance
By selecting “Add CCT Care” at checkout and completing your purchase, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood this Membership Agreement
- You authorize the recurring monthly charge described in Section 3
- You understand that CCT Care is a pricing membership, not insurance (Section 1)
- You understand that CCT Care carries no credit balance — the monthly fee buys member pricing, not stored value (Sections 1, 4)
- You understand enrollment is checkout-only, and that a re-enrolled device carries a 3-month repair-waiting period (Sections 2, 7)
- You agree to the dispute-resolution terms in Section 13
If you do not agree to these terms, do not opt in to CCT Care at checkout. You may still purchase the device without the membership.
This agreement was drafted for CCT Repairs as a customer-facing terms document for the CCT Care membership (a repair-pricing membership, not insurance, a service contract, or a prepaid-credit product). Before going live, review with a Connecticut-licensed attorney for compliance with state-specific consumer protection laws (Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act / CUTPA) and any applicable jurisdictions where Members reside (notably California’s CCPA/CPRA and ARL, New York’s General Business Law § 349). Particular attention to: (a) the auto-renewal disclosure requirements of California’s ARL (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602), which applies to monthly subscription billing including for non-California customers; (b) the limitation-of-liability section, which has carve-outs in some states; (c) confirming the “membership / discount plan” characterization holds under Connecticut law so the product is not re-classified as a service contract.
