How is "used" different from "refurbished"?

We grade every device individually rather than using vendor labels. NEW SEALED / NEW HSO are factory-fresh; Grade A / B are pre-owned with cosmetic differences but full functionality.

What's the return window?

30 days from delivery. Device must be unactivated and in original condition. We pay return shipping if the device is defective; otherwise return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Are devices unlocked?

Most are CDMA / GSM unlocked. Carrier status is shown on each product card. Filter by "Unlocked" on any brand page to see only unlocked devices.

Do batteries come tested?

Every device's battery health is tested before listing. Devices with battery health below our threshold get a battery replacement before sale (or are sold at a discount with a clear advisory).

How does CCT Care compare to AppleCare?

They're different products. AppleCare is insurance — it covers accidental damage for a monthly fee plus per-incident deductibles. CCT Care isn't insurance; it's a pricing membership. It doesn't "cover" a repair — it bills any repair to your registered device at our cost for parts plus a flat $80 labor rate, so you always pay for the repair but at a much lower price. Membership runs about $14–$34/mo depending on the device.

Can I trade in my old device?

Yes — bring it to our New Haven shop or ship it. We'll evaluate, grade, and offer trade-in credit toward any used device on the site or store credit for parts/accessories.
