Fair returns. Real warranty.

Every part we sell is backed by a 90-day manufacturer warranty. Unopened items return free within 30 days. Tempered glass gets a $10 lifetime replacement. No surprises.

TL;DR — 30-day unopened returns (customer pays return shipping). 90-day manufacturer warranty on every part (we pay return shipping for defective items). Tempered glass replaced for life for only $10 install. Brand-new cracks, cosmetic damage, and water damage void the warranty.
30-Day unopened returns

Changed your mind? No problem.

If you change your mind, return the item unopened and unused within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Original packaging and proof of purchase are required. Customer pays return shipping on these returns.

90-day manufacturer warranty

Every part, every tier.

Every part we sell carries a 90-day manufacturer warranty. If a part fails functionally within 90 days of delivery, we'll replace it free or refund your purchase price — and we cover return shipping for defective items.

Three things void the warranty:

  1. Brand-new cracks — the part arrived cracked, or cracked during handling/install.
  2. Cosmetic damage — scrapes, scratches, or bruising on the part.
  3. Water damage — any moisture or liquid exposure to the part.

If your part shows any of those at the time of a claim, the warranty does not apply.

Tempered glass — lifetime replacement

Break it, we replace it for $10.

We believe a screen protector should last as long as you own your device. If your tempered glass screen protector breaks — for any reason — book an appointment and we'll install a brand-new one for only $10.

This applies to any tempered glass purchased from CCT Repairs, for the lifetime of the device. Professional installation at our New Haven shop is included. By appointment only — book online or call/text to schedule.

What is NOT covered

The fine print, plainly stated.

  • Wrong device/model ordered — please verify compatibility before purchase
  • Damage during DIY installation attempts
  • Loss, theft, or damage caused by third parties
  • Cosmetic wear after normal use (micro-scratches, slight edge chipping)
  • Brand-new cracks, cosmetic damage (scrapes / scratches / bruising), and water damage — per the warranty voiders above
Who pays return shipping

Simple: defective is on us.

Defective / DOA items

CCT pays return shipping. We'll send you a prepaid label and process your replacement or refund as soon as the item is back at our warehouse.

Non-defective returns

Changed your mind, ordered the wrong part, etc. — the customer is responsible for return shipping. Refund issued once the unopened item arrives back.

How to start a return

One email or phone call.

Email [email protected] with your order number, or call/text (203) 442-6070. If you'd prefer to drop off in person at our New Haven shop, please book an appointment first — we are appointment-only.

Accessories & other items

Cables, chargers, cases.

Non-glass accessories (cables, chargers, cases, etc.) may be returned unused within 30 days. Opened or used items may be eligible for exchange at our discretion. Manufacturer warranties from brands such as Apple and Samsung are passed through to the customer.

Refund processing

3–5 business days back to your card.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Shipping fees on the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to a CCT Repairs error.
